As i see the calender showing the holidays ahead, my mind goes flying. Not because of the festive mood but the joy of being with the family members is priceless. Today we notice that the human values are deteriorating and that the technological break through is gaining priority to relationships. One can notice a man communicating with his mobile box more often than to anyone around him. Children get separated from their parents due to distant education, jobs, projects and many more. Between all these schedule it is the festivals and family functions which unite us all. Let it be Dewali or Ramzan or Christmas, never mind the religion, provides a chance to hold family values. So people never let of the opportunity and disparage the family values. lets all get together

Hope you all get a fair amount of time to spend with your family in this hectic mechanical world which is turning the mankind into computers.

Unexpected Tragedy

Hi everyone. I am here very much distressed, cranky out of the incident that took place today.

In my previous post i mentioned about my exams postponed due to heavy rain in this part of the world. Today i was about to appear for that delayed exam.

As usual the sun God came out to split its light on those in this world but not on me. I woke up early morning before dawn and was going through my pages. I was out to the mosque to do my fazar(morning) prayer. Then came back and had coffee. Blown out of tiredness i rested in the sofa. May be it was a daffy idea, but i did not get to know at that instant. Later i woke up only to find that the clock ticked 9AM. Mind it, the exam will be started at 10AM and entry will be closed 30 minutes past. In the mean time i had to travel nearly 2 hrs to college.

I got into my bike which will take me in an hour. So i was safe to reach well before the closing time. But to my ill luck i had to get through a heavy traffic which was caused by a political rally which is an often caused nuisance in India. My brain was working like a computer and switched tracks to get through as soon as possible. But at a point i was blocked from proceeding anymore. I was told that the political party leader was about to cross and wait a 15 min. I could do nothing other than watch the bullshit pass front of me in an Audi.

The traffic got cleared of a sudden and my bike was at max speed. When i reached the parking lot in the college the clock ticked 10:40AM, ten minutes past closure time. I rushed to find the attendance marked absent. I kicked myself and my fate and returned to canteen.

Had a coffee and was waiting for my friends to finish the exam and to have a glance at the question paper. To my surprise i found three of my friends come to canteen. I wondered had they finished their exam. But was happy to hear that they too had a similar sort of experience.
All got pumped up as we had company to appear for the exam next semester. I can never forget this incident in my life.

Exam postponed

Hi everyone. Its been very cool out here in the state of Tamil Nadu(South India). For a long time now the people of this part of India were looking for the sky Gods to show mercy. At last they had their desire fulfilled with the monsoon showers pelting heavy.

Today i had my semester exam and hence the night before i was very much dancing with my loads of books to the extent that even my friend was switching off the lights on insisting me to relax. Today morning we were starting to the exams all prepared to only read the headlines that the university exams are postponed. That was disquieting me. But my friend was all pumped up.Then we had a cool breakfast and joined with the hostel guys and had fun all the day.

I am going through the though patch of my life. I am little away from blogging for the past few days and will be away till December since i am writing my semester exams. Keep looking around. Will be back with still more interesting posts next month.

Hats of to a legend

The top headlines in the cricket column in all the papers in India is the retirement of the former cricket team captain Sourav Chandidas Ganguly. My nerves stars triggering as i spell the name Sourav. Its was his aggression that have transformed the look of this current Indian team. One may argue that he is not in the best of form of late. But that dose not matter for a legend. He has left nothing to prove to anyone. How can one forget his ton on debut, his roaring march in Australian fields, his unique leadership which took India to the world cup final. His job for the cricket of India is more than done. Now its up to these young lads to take over from these senior players. Hope India will march towards the image of invincible. We love you forever.

Journey with some purpose

Since I completed my high school in 2004, its been several times I made trips to Chennai(260km). I do remember the first time, I went for the admission of my bachelor degree to the management office of Crescent Engineering College. It was about 5AM i reached the capital city and the sun was coming out of its shell giving rise to a bright day. I was imagining of my future career too will be as bright as that day. God's grace i got admitted in the major I preferred.

The next trip was with my parents to get admitted in the campus hostel with all my luggage. I would pay all my life if i could get that day now.

In the next four years i have been to college in bus,car,train,van,lorry and even by bike. In all those trips if i think back and recollect my memories, I have been ecstatic, adventurous, happy, joyful, coward and even piled up with sadness. But I guess there had been no purpose in all those trips.

Now, being out of college with all my colleague distant to me, I have to go to college all alone. The reason behind is to appear for my exams(so called arrears). This trip is different to those before as I am being scanned by my parents, relations, society and even more. Here comes the purpose to finish off my degree. I believe I have been up to the expectation of my parents till date and hope to do even better in future. May God help me out in this purposeful trip.

Psychology- a look into it

Today we notice a number of branches developing in science. Right from the physical science to the technology up to date we have numerous branches of science.

The basic branches of science are
Natural science,
Formal science,
Social science and
Applied science.

From the above for major branches Psychology arises from Applied sciences. One hundred years ago, people viewed the workings of the human mind as a great mystery. An Austrian doctor named Sigmund Freud made sense of that mystery. He is called the Father of Psychiatry for his innovative ideas.

He researched the meaning of dreams,
How the unconscious mind works?
How the events in our past influence the actions we take?

He spent most of his life in Vienna. He believed that beneath our conscious mind is a submerged unconscious that governs much of our behaviour. Early in his career, Freud attracted intense hostility to his work, but gradually his ideas were accepted. In 1920, Freud developed a new theory that the mind is made up of three parts,

• the id, which contains impulses,
• the ego which represents reasoning and
• the superego, the self critical idea.

In my point of view these psychiatrists should form a society and engage in social service. Today many a people get affected from stress, depression, loneliness etc. For instance, considering a college many students get deviated from their path. Its not because they go wrong intentionally rather the situations which affect them. Such a society will help many out of their problems. Lets hope that many a number of psychiatrists graduate in equal number of doctors and engineers, which will help reform this society.

Cricket - no longer a Gentleman's game

For all those cricket followers it would be interesting that the Australian team is being challenged these days. The results speaks out. They haven't won the last four tests. That is not the result we see often in the last decade. Anyhow what makes India challenging the aussie. May be we can argue that its due to the send off of Warne and Mcgrath.

But the obvious reason behind the game is that, the opponents are starting to play aussie in their own way. Its aggressive and tough cricket. This unique way of playing the game is appriciatable provided aggression is within the limits.

Usually we find on field spat, sledging, footing and many more in different games, but not in cricket. That is why cricket is called gentleman's game. It seems now the tag of cricket is fading away. We remember the Sydney test last year which made to the headlines for various reasons. Not even an year has passed by, another verbal dual and suspension have come by the way.

The latest buzz is the biography "True Colors" of the great Australian wicket keeper Adam Gilchrist. Already Gilly had apologized to the little master for commenting on him. Now the new one is involving ganguly and Harbhajan, commenting they were chickened out in 2004 Nagpur test in fear of defeat.

If this culture goes on then cricket will no longer be a gentleman's game. Authorities concerned must inquire into this developing culture. Lets hope cricket to be played in the spirit of the game.

ANACONDA or PYTHON

Hi everyone. Here i would like to post an interesting fact about snakes.

Many people believe that the South American Anaconda is the longest snake in the world. But its not been proved yet. May be we would have seen in the Hollywood movie. The reason behind the above fact is that once the US President Theodore Roosevelt offered $5000 to anyone who would produce the skin of vertebrae of an Anaconda of more than a 9m long. The US wildlife Conservation Society increased this offer to even $50000,but the prize has never been claimed.

Then which one is the longest..?
Its the reticulated or Royal Python is probably the longest snake up to 10.7m.
But Anaconda succeed Python in weight as it weighs up to 230kg.

Tsunami in 2004 "Not the first"

Hi everyone. I believe all would remember the worst memories of the huge natural disaster that took away more than hundred thousand people and leaving more than an equal number in the streets. Hope everyone got it. It is the Tsunami which shacked the islands of Indonesia and coasts of east India.

Many would have wondered that this type of disaster in a new one and the word tsunami would be new to their ears. But researches have revealed that this type of major disaster have happened before.

A research team was deployed and were working in the post tsunami struck areas. Usually when a major tsunami hits a shore it leaves a layer of soil in the attacked areas. The scientists on examining those lands found a number of such layers and have concluded that there had been a major attack some 600 to 700 years ago.

Its really frightening to think of those bitter memories. Let us hope that this never happen again. May God save us........

Improved version of OS

Microsoft have unveiled its new version of operating system "WINDOWS 7". It is studied that this version of OS will be more user friendly than the previous version Vista, which claimed to have many attractive features than XP but failed to come high in the market. Usually the corporates were slow to switch from XP to vista as it had a lot of feedback.

Hopefully Microsoft has promised that their new version will hit the market sometime late next year. It has some new features like

• Zoom in on an image by moving two fingers closer together - a technology first introduced to millions of users by Apple's iPhone.
• A new taskbar aims to give more rapid access to files and programs, with each open window appearing as a graphic thumbnail.
• HomeGroup, allowing users easy sharing of data across PCs and other devices in the home.
  
• More support for devices such as cameras, printers, and mobile phones with a product called Device Stage offering a single window to manage tasks for each device.
  

Tough contest ahead

In the second cricket test match, India totally outclassed the mighty Australia. Coming into the third test, its been a week since the aussies tasted the bitter experience which they usually present it to their opponents. But the aussies have come through a week to regroup and we could expect a charged up team at Delhi, the venue for the third test.

India have won their last seven tests at Delhi and its bean a hunting ground for Kumble, who is likely to continue where he left off in Bangalore due to a stiff shoulder. It will be a real test of character for him. Previous stats are that the Indian batsmen have done considerably well here with Ganguly leading the list followed by Dravid. India will never have a better venue than this to come up with an undefeatable lead in the series. In the mean time the aussie will be raring to come out of their den. Aussies will be looking for some runs from their 'run machine', Hayden. Also the spin department may play a great role as Ponting described the pitch as 'loose'. Jason Krezia may make his debut.

Play might be delayed due to the smog over the ground. Lets hope for a good contest.

Sorrow shadowed Happiness

Hi everyone. The function Deepavali(festival of crackers) went calmly safe in my area not until an unexpected incident happened near my house. While i was in my room surfing, i heard a huge sound of crackers which i haven't heard the hole day. It was around 6 o'clock when the sun was going into its cave and darkness spreading rapidly. I rushed out and to my surprise, a crackers shop which was a few steps from my house was on fire. I could hardly find any people nearby as the fire was huge. Later the fire van arrived and the fire people took a lot of pain to put out the fire. By God's grace there was no damage to any life. Later when the authorities probed an inquiry into the incident and it was studied that it was due to an electric short. May God save us from these type of miseries.

Perfect Solution

Hello everyone.
Its my pleasure to share my experience with you all. In my post named MISSION AHEAD i have mentioned about my past 3 years, in which i was lost from this world mentally. But where did i come back(mentally) to this world?

First of all the credit goes to ALLAH, who created these whole beings and controlling everything. As i completed my college i was puzzled about my future since there were arrears left behind to complete my bachelor degree. Suddenly an idea struck my mind to go in a religious trip. Its not like visiting holy places. Religious trip means JAMATH (going in the path of ALLAH, staying within mosques in various places and studying cum practicing Islam). By God's grace i started for 40 days. We were in Tarapuram, a town near Coimbatore. These were the days i started researching Islam.
What is said in it.?
How a muslim should lead his life?
Who is Prophet MOHAMMED(sallalagu alivasallam)?
What was his life style?

I was totally away from all my contacts. It was this loneliness that answered all the above questions. That was the perfect solution for my puzzle. I started understanding the meaning of the life, given to us by the Almighty. As days passed by, I was very much interested in extending my trip. I then went on to North India. Was there for nearly 40 days around parts of Delhi. Finally I returned to my native,Tamil Nadu last month.
I am afresh from my past bad memories and hope to do good in my future life. May ALLAH help me out in every step i take further.

Deepavali(4 days to go)

Deepavali, the festival of crackers falls on 27th of this month. With just 4 days to go, today morning my parents went out without informing me as i was engaged in surfing. I was wondering where these people went. To my surprise the came an hour later with a bag full of sweets. I heard that those were brought by paying money monthly. Let me go now and have those sweets. You all too have sweets and enjoy this Deepavali festival.

Selection crisis

The Indian cricket team after winning Australia by a large margin may be up beat. But the problem is over the playing 11 for the third test at Delhi. Delhi is the hunting ground for Kumble, which assists spin. With Amit Mishra (replacement for Kumble in 2nd test) making a dream debut, it will be hard to drop him and bring back Kumble. Well, if India goes on with 5 bowlers, then who will be the batsmen dropped? Almost all the top 6 batsmen have played a part in the concluded two tests.
Lets wait and see how the team comes in.

Mission ahead

I am quite an introvert to a stranger, but once introduced will bug like a busy bee. I was affected by the so called exam fear for the past three years which spoiled my engineering life. But now being out of college, I am alone and was thinking over where I went wrong. In a vow to hit back I took many steps to get rid of the so called tag "TESTOPHOBIA". By God's grace I am feeling a lot better now. Hope to do better in future. As a test to my new avatar I have my semester exams ahead next month. Hope to clear all my arrears next month.

Historic win

It was a great start for MS Dhoni as captain for the cricket's most prolific format(test cricket) at Mohali in which India trashed Australia by 320 runs. Those figures do not come often in the recent time. Credit goes to the whole team. India dominated Australia in all the departments. Indian pacemen had their balls pitched at the right spot and made it move either ways while the Australian pacers were clueless and the batsmen were caught on the crease for most of the time. At last more than a decade we have a cricket team(India) challenging the might Aussie. Well lets wait and see how the tournament goes on. More excitement awaits.

Multiple Personality

Multiple personality is a type of psychiatric (neurosis) disorder. Its quite amazing to study about it. Here a single individual divides his characters into many depending upon the situation. This arises mainly due to an inferior complex. Complex in the sense, the individual dies for something but due to their inability they may lose it. At this point of time the mind of the individual breaks up and creates a new personality within himself and puts its efforts to achieve the lost.

ISLAM

What is Islam?

If the above question is put to an individual, the immediate reply will be that it is a religion. Here is where everyone goes wrong.

Islam is not a religion. Its the the way a human should live in this world. Islam is not only for muslims but to every single human born in this world. It frames a set of rules for everyone to lead their life.

Now the million dollar question is what will a human will benefit from living according to Islam?
The answer is quite simple. He will be victorious, not only in this world but also in the here after. According to Islam this human creation i created not for this world, but for the here after(life after death). Now the duty of every human is to prepare for his here after. Death is the bridge which connects this worldly life with the here after. In the here after to enter the most precious, priceless HEAVEN, one should live according to the order of the Almighty,ALLAH.
